As the existing networks are
converted to high speed IP multi-media networks, it is desirable
to convert the existing monitoring and alarm systems over to IP
interfaces, where this is practical. In order to achieve this in
a cost effective manner,
it is essential to preserve the existing local alarm gathering
system, and avoid any major rewiring of the
existing offices.
In order to assist our
customers in this “network transition”,
Altalinq Inc. has partnered
with
Unlimited Bandwidth LLC to bring a comprehensive
product line to the market.
The product line has three major
sub-systems:

-an IP
concentrator system that will take existing E2A interfaces
and convert them to IP for
transmission. The system can also handle Westronics WS2000, and
Dantel 460 alarm system interfaces as well. This approach preserves
the integrity of the existing central monitoring system. |

-an alarm
monitoring system that utilizes the E2A format (Discretes and
TBOS), format and can be
utilized for the transport and data networks including outdoor
cabinets. |
